I'm new to this forum, but have posted some things. However, I get a little confused (i hate confused ^.^ )with some of the terms used. I'v figured out AS, from context...but I'm not completely sure what NT would be, exactly, except that it means someone who isn't AS. And I was wondering if someone could explain "stimming" ...? I'v seen it used a few times, but I can't get that one from context.

Those are the only ones I'v found that are confusing.

<.> Sorry if there's already a topic explaining these, if there is I couldn't find it.

Thx in advance!

NT means Neurotypical - someone who doesn't have Aspergers/Autism etc.

Stimming is a repetitive behavior a person usually finds comforting or "grounding".

"...a repetitive body movement that self-stimulates one or more senses in a regulated manner."

I`d never heard of stimming before coming here. I thought I was just having nervous habits that everyone has but notice now I do wierd things with my hands - long sleeves are good...
