Whenever I am being called on in class to speak I either get really hot and start sweating or get really cold and start stammering my words. I was wondering how your anxiety affects your body.
Same here. Especially when it's impromptu, I feel the energies of the crowd drown me to death. Or when I'm being judged in front or around critics, I'd feel shattering. But like when it's our speech communications class, at first I was just stooping when reciting in front but later on I learned to look at them with confidence and bravery and deliver a good piece. But occasionally I'm still experiencing it.
Maybe it's because of the fight-or-flight response our body gets when triggered with such stimuli.
