ohmygod - i'm getting strange texts messages from a weirdo! what should i do? this is happening as we speak!

How on earth do these youngsters text so fast anyway? This is really doing my thumbs in.....

If it is mobile phone messages you can take your phone to police and they will trace person from number. If you want them to they will then follow up with a visit to person's home with a warning.
This happened to someone I know and this what she did.
The police turning up on his door step was enough to remind him to behave himself with a bit of a shock.

do not delete messages. The police took freind and situation very seriously which help friend.

don't worry - it's all okay. i know who it is (grin), and i have the largest stick i could find ready...

Text Messages? Yuck. I'd rather sit around on the computer and AIM people.

But all I can say is call the cops or give the guy who's doing it a taste of his own medicine. When people bug me on AIM, I flip onto another screen name and pretend to be a different person and successfully bug them right back. Borrow someone elses phone and do the same (if you can)

actually, an interesting point - i am right handed, but always type texts with my left. i actually find it extremely difficult to do so with my right hand. anyone else do this?

i think, for me, that it stems from my training as a microbiologist - everything has to be done using sterile technique, so you can't put anything down, and so you learn to do things like take tops of bottles (screw tops) with your left hand (which i still do).

Normally I'd say get a gun, but in your case get a crossbow, broadsword, or make a trench club.

I can't get text messages from someone weirder than me. I really would like to see someone try.

/me just wants a cell phone, period. I shouldn't think I'd use it an excessive amount since not many people call me. But I wouldn't mind one with a camera phone

I have a friend whose ring isn't a ring but it says instead in a woman's voice "Master, you have an incoming phone call." DUDE, I want a cell phone with that ring on it!

I only AIM people. I enjoy it and it's much safer.

I don't have a mobile phone. Hate the things. Grrr.
