Any experience with people continually telling you that you look depressed?

I haven't been told that yet. I have been told I look tired and serious lol .

People often say I look tired; they rarely say I look serious....

People never see you "the way you really are" unless they get to know you well.

True, but even some people who do know me quite well don't really always see that I'm not that serious. I do put time and effort into some things, but I also like to have fun sometimes as well

You're in a better position than me. If people think you're serious, they respect you.

People don't respect me...until I make the effort to have them respect me.

If you looked like a teenager, they might think you're weird carrying the squid.

But if you looked like a little girl--not so much.

a peer counselor had the nerve to tell me "you sound depressed." but i disclosed, in writing that i got a clinical depression diagnosis. disclosed on the form that the counseling office made me fill out.

but seriously though. depression is a mental illness. not an emotion. that's sadness.

and it kind of gets on my nerves how extroverts act morally entitled and obliged to comment on every last thought and emotion that goes through their precious lil heads.

facial expression, clothes, voice, hair, posture

sometiems extroverts make me wanna puke
