My mom just yelled at me that I only eat when it's Taco's or Sphagetti. Sadly she pulls this on me everyonce in a while and IT ISN'T TRUE! I have to want to want a burger etc. I eat other stuff Roast,Chili, burgers but I have to be in the mood to eat them. I really love Taco's and Sphagetti though LOL! So I was curious if anyone on WP has this issue and perhaps ways I can deal with it with my mom thanks WP members. :-) (BTW tonight we had hotdogs and some macoroni I didn't like much and I wasn't in the mood for a hotdog.) :-( Thanks WP members. :-)

Moving out costs money silly LOL! Also I don't know if I'd like being alone (I can do that in my room) I tend to stay in my room 90%ish of the time. :-)

My sister gets mad at me when I won't eat her dinners. I only really like it when she cooks taco turnovers (folded biscuits with taco meat and cheese in the middle). Other than that, my diet mostly consists of salad, Asian-style pot stickers and egg rolls.

it sounds normal-especially so for ASD.
not everyone can just scoff everything in sight, its about tolerance levels towards food-which those with an ASD can especially struggle with,so this at least should be recognised.
though it sounds like own mum is just trying to be a mum and make sure self has a better diet, rather than be nasty.

am have a very restricted diet, have up to two meals a week or less and get prescribed ensure plus milkshakes and see a dietician-am recommend seeing a dietician to get help with diet-it may even help to keep own mum quieter about food.

High protein. Feel like I could exist solely on beef, pork, fish, and fowl. Like a hunter from the paleolithic.

Just give me a roaring fire and a dead buffalo and I'm fine.

I'm alot like you. I love spaghetti, lasagna (basically Italian food, anything with tomato sauce and pasta :) I will eat other things but I don't like to if I'm not really in the mood for it. I'm also not good at cooking though so I limit myself to the simple tasty foods.

I mostly like free food, as long as it's not liver.

I usually eat the same thing for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Breakfast is either toast or cereal at 7:30 or 8am.
I've got to have my 2-3 servings of fish a week. That's usually lunch, sometimes dinner. Otherwise I'd have salad and cheese sandwich. That's usually at 12pm.
My dinner is usually chicken, rice and stirfry vegetables. That's always at 6pm.
And for tea I have Chai Tea at 9:30pm every night.

I am very touchy about food. I mostly like Chinese food. Can't get enough of it. Would have it EVERY DAY if not for the fact that I'm fat enough already! :P When I was single and living at home with my parents, I had it about 3+ times per week at my favorite place which no longer exists.

Mexican food, Italian food, etc I like as well, but ONLY when I'm in the mood. Same for burgers, sandwiches, seafood, Greek, etc.

I can't stomach beans. Period. I've never tasted a bean I could actually get down. And as an adult I've developed allergies to some of my favorite foods from my childhood and THAT SUCKS!

I'm pretty finicky, but I've noticed that I'm more adventurous and eat more when I'm around nice people. If I'm nervous I can't eat at all. My diet, left to my own devices, is very fatty and high in protein, but I'm super thin because it's not unusual for me to eat a bacon cheeseburger and fries as my one meal of the day.

I live with a vegetarian who loves sweets, and she makes me very comfortable, so I have no trouble with tofu, beans, cookies, icecream, and vegetables being a regular part of my diet. But when I'm with my mom, I can barely handle bean curd or the Latin foods my father likes. The slightest off texture or flavor puts me off, even though I dumpster dive. I'm not trying to be snotty, it's just that it's really hard for me to eat when I'm uncomfortable.
