Does it annoy you opening a package the wrong way?

I find it unnecessarily annoying when I open something the wrong way, for instance like when I open a bag of chips up-side-down, it aggravates me! Also does anyone have to open a package in a certain way(and will keep attempting to do so even though you could just rip it open)? :)

Speaking of bags of chips, after several had 'structural failures' and split dramatically and threw their contents on the floor while I was trying to pull the end open I now cut the top off with scissors, or if scissors are not available notch one end of top and use it as a starter point to pull down and pull off the package side - which it now seems a couple manufacturers of small snack bags have themselves provided for.

Over on Starship Modeler model building forum there is recent discussion about how current boxes from manufacturer Glencoe have no apparent way to open them without destruction of the box since the box is folded with interlocking tabs in such a way as to have no flaps to pull open.
That package appears to have only wrong ways to open it!

I hate it when I am opening chips and it rips open with all of them falling to the floor! Now it takes me longer to open them(or anything for that matter) because I fear that the contents are going to come flying out!

...Does anyone here follow the " hit it with your fist " approach to chips bags (" crisps " to you Limeys :P ), which creates a big POW!? Strait-outta mid-60s Pop Are/"camp"/the " BATMAN " TV series! :P  Not recommended, maybe, if you've got a PSTD-infected combat veteran in your immediate circle!

I hate those kinds of "epic fails" when I open a bag and the contents fly in my face or fall to the floor. It's especially embarrassing when I'm with a bunch of people. They laugh and say, "How stupid you are!" or yell "Pick that stuff (sanitized term) up!"
