I started seeing a therapist for my undiagnosed AS. She normally works with children and adolescents. I'm an adult. Is that anything to be concerned about? Should I be working with someone that works primarily with adults?

It depends on the therapist. Maybe he/she happens to be good with adults as well as kids.

If you find that he/she's not good for you, just try to find someone who specializes in adults.

It matters more that she understand that adult males elicit less sympathy than children and women. I had a good therapist, but half her suggestions would have gotten me labelled a pansy.
