In my country, service dogs for disabled people (not just physically disabled people) are starting to become a thing.

Where i live it is a training program that you have to take and you have to pass some tests in order to become a service dog team (the price of training, accessories and other costs are about -1700 USD (converted) which is a pretty ok price considering that you get time with a professional trainer for 30min/week for about two years).

Although it is probably not something i am planning to do with the family dog, it is definitely something i will check out in the future, as i probably will train my own service dog.

The dog, if being certified as a service dog, would gain access to all public places.

This is very good news :)

Congratulations.

I hope your dog gets certified soon.

I haven't started the training yet and probably won't until i have moved into my own place (and bought the dog), (hopefully in about 3 or 4 years), unless i have a more serious regression, in which case i might buy my own dog when still living at home.
