I think there is a place for them, a starting place. For those of us lucky enough to have a formal diagnosis they are a bit of fun, for others they represent hope.
Yes, they are inconsistent, but then they were never meant to be diagnostic. Only this evening I took a test which said I was OCD. Of course, I am not, well no more than yer average aspie. Let's face it we are all a little obsessive about one thing or another.
