on the 10th of november im having 2 teeth pulled fillings im getting laughing gas liquid pre meds and the papoose wrap with the head strap im scared can you explain what will happen

I had my wisdom teeth out and it was a very uneventful experience. I was given an anti anxiety to take the day of them when I got there they started the gas. I didn't even feel them slide the iv needle in. I slipped under anesthesia and woke up very gently after it was finished. No pain no swelling no side effects. You have nothing to worry about, they know what they are doing. Just explain before your concerns and they can give you a full run down and answer any questions.

Don't think about it to much. Just try to forget about it till it comes up then try to, Play down the fear. Like try to say that it isn't as big of a deal as it may seem.That's what I do

All that will happen is that you will be put on medication that makes you feel less pain. And or feel relaxed... Then they will do the procedure on you. It's essentially pain free.

You'll be fine. The worst part is the anxiety before going. Once you're drugged you'll feel very relaxed. By the time they're strapping me down in the chair I'm completely realxed and half asleep and couple of minutes after that I'm out altogether.

I kind of remember them tugging on my wisdom tooth because it was impacted, but just barely.

You have nothing to worry about. All a papose board does is to gently hold you in place, it's like a hug almost. It's usually used to ensure patients don't move and I injure themselves during treatment
