Hi guys. I was just wondering if anyone else on the spectrum sometimes talk with gritted teeth, with like a half smile? I dont know, I notice I do this to emphasise something I say or mean, or I just do it because I can. I know that I half smile when I'm anxious in new situations, i was just wondering if its something common with ASD to talk with gritted teeth?

Haven't really thought about it.

I think I might have done this on occasion, but probably more as a way of expressing uncertainty than as a stim. I have a feeling that this is what NTs would use it for as well.
