Some in Seattle would say a light display in the Maple Leaf neighborhood is one of the best around.

Rebecca Kerl's son Alex, who has autism, is the brains behind this incredible display.

“Every year we do a crazy Christmas light show. It’s been a passion of the family’s for about five years now,” Kerl said.

The family has been working on the display for several years now in different cities.

To start, Kerl had a group of friends create a GoFundMe for a light controller to give Alex a push to set up his first display.

Alex's first display had around 2,000 lights – This year there are 25,000 to 30,000 lights. The process takes months to plan and program, said Kerl
