“Stop Trying To Be different”, “you are just like any of use”, “just watch EastEnders like the rest of use”

This is what brought this up is one of my workmates Russell put some paperclips and elastic band in his hair, and I said how comes can get away with it, and one other of my workmates said he also get stick too but he doesn’t try to be who he isn’t , while I am always doing this.

While in reality I am trying my best to be the same, while my friend Russell is being the rebel. I often compare myself to him because appear childish sometime just like I can. He put sprung bob square pant song on his mp3, while I have decided that even have rock music is not socially expectable.

Much of what I do is all about image now, I see that as the only way. I might not be good at it and I would respect them if they that my attempt is pathetic, but I want them to know that I do try and I am making progress. The thing like dressing and crooning correctly are lot more easy then changing to fit in with the NT world.

Not a Chav trying to be an Intellectual.

I get the exact same thing. I'm not trying to be different, I am different.

Say that "If I could stop being different I would have done that a LONG time ago."

NEVER compromise who you are for anyone!

ALWAYS be true to yourself!

Trying to be someone who is acceptable in the eyes of our friends/colleagues is not right.

Are you being yourself or are you being what will make you popular?

If you are yourself then friends will like you FOR you.

If you are being what they want you to be, then you have no real friends because the friendship is based on a lie.

And this applies to society as a whole.

No person can fit in all the time with every person - so don't try!

They probably believe that I have a false feeling of superiourity, I forgot to say they also said I am not Superman I am falible like human beings. Should I be this simple chavy NT with learning difficulties and I see myself as more then isn't that a good thing.

Christians see themselves anointed by god and think god give the super powers. Christainity isn't to truth of the universe, but there are christians everywhere because of their ability to see things though rose tinted glases.

you are more then a set of problems man your a human being like the rest of us

we are all different and see things differently youve gotta look at life the right way and keep faith in yourself but youve gotta accept that you can be wrong, otherwise you are just looking through rose tinted glasses

but letting jerks get to you is never a good thing you know you better than they ever could

yeah ive tried to be what other people want but its been just a matter of time before the identity crisis takes over and im back at square one...my advice is to do what makes you happy...not to say that being intrigued by another persons personallity isnt being you, but you have to be sure u do things not for acceptance but for happiness and well being of self....

now the things about my self i want to change i try and i can only hope to be rid of them all one day...but til then i am art in progress....progressing towards a goal of subliminal nirvana absent of all who would ever try to corrupt my simplistic naive sense of the world...

who says we arent in Kansas anymore....I hope to always be able to return

A lot of people I work with like reality T.V. I am not into it at all. I don't generally talk about a lot of the things I'm interested in, except for my pets, because my interests are different from other people's.

If I ever tried to be normal (as if I'd know HOW!) I wouldn't be myself anymore. It's not worth being socially acceptable to lose my identity. I'd rather have no friends and be who I am than to have people flocking to be my friend when I'm faking everything.
