Hi guys i put a topic on here yesterday but still need help because I didn't get much response. I am 34 and have been told by professionals I show signs of Asperger's. I got some advice yesterday which was helpful. I took the AQ test and got 36 out of 50. Plus I have done my research and I beleieve I have a lot of the signs such as struggling to cope in social situations, becoming rude and pushing people away. I will eventually go to a doctor and get advice but as I am travelling in New Zealand it's hard to do so so. Does anyone one have any advice e.g. Stopping drinking a good diet and gym etc.
Many thanks guys

I use lists and schedules to keep a good routine, it especially helps me to eat regularly, and when I'm on a routine I don't feel as much need to numb myself with alcohol. Probably mostly because I have things to do that I wouldn't be able to if I were drunk or hungover.
If I just decide that "I'm gonna eat healthy this week!" but don't write it down (and make shopping lists!) I'm more likely to just say "screw it, I want cookies. I'll get healthy tomorrow".
It's as if when the rules are written down and on display, I take them much more seriously.
