I do it sometimes. I never do it when people are around, so no one knows I do it.
I sometimes hit or bang my head (sometimes even just a steady pressure on the temples) because it feels like my brain isn't right and I have to knock it back into place. Like how you might smack and old tv to try to get it working is the closest analogy I can think of. It just makes everything feel much better.
Anyone else have similiar reasons? If not why do you do it (if you do)?

Because I'm an idiot LOL

But, sometimes, things get so frustrating that I bang my head against walls. I try not to hit my head too hard, though.

This shows how hardheaded I am.....

I hit it sometimes, and have banged my head on occasion. My legs/arms/chest take most of the brunt of the beating most often but I do hit my head sometimes.

Usually happens when I feel very angry, upset, frustrated or if I feel/have done something stupid.

Before I went on meds I used to hit myself in the head during an outburst because I got so frustrated with myself. I didn't want to hurt objects, animals or other people, so hitting myself was the most logical thing to do. I haven't done that since I went on antidepressants though, because those meds help control rage outbursts better.

It's not just my head I used to hit when frustrated though. I'd hit whatever I was frustrated with, like one time I kept having diarrhea throughout a day and I hated it, so I punched my tummy.

But I do hate my brain more than any other organ in my body.

I do it every time I have a meltdown which I don't get very often anymore. Or when I'm very angry, frustrated and confused. I also will hit myself in the head with objects too like my phone. I have done it so hard before it made me dizzy. Fortunately it hasnt happened for a while

don't bang my head but used to punch a lot of inanimate objects ( doors , walls ) , for me it was just frustration and a total loss of control , my hands cant take the punishment anymore so I occasionally throw things to break them ( mobile phone , mouse ( digital kind )). I have anger management issues

I do this when i get extremely frustrated. It calms me down because i can get the rage out withouth yelling at people or breaking my things.

I did it when I would get frustrated and had all these intense feelings inside me.

What do you mean by pain?
For me, when I say my brain isn't right its hard to explain. It could sort of be called pain I guess. Its like their is a pressure all around it.
How does this compare to you?

If it's literal pain, you should see a doctor about it.
