Injuries during birth/cord wrapped around neck?

I read a study on Birth Injury Guide (. org) that a large percentage of ASDs come as a result of birth issues and injuries. I thought this was interesting because I'm the only child in my family to have Asperger's and coincidentally I had the umbilical cord wrapped around my neck at birth. I wanted to see if any of you had this happen at birth?

They list birth injuries as including:
Forceps and vacuum extraction injuries
Injuries due to improper epidural administration
Uterine inertia
Umbilical cord issues, such as the cord being wrapped around the baby’s neck
Performing a C-section too late
Inducing labor by use of medication
Extremely long or extremely short labor
Failure of physicians to monitor an infant who has a slow heart rate
Neonatal anemia
Meconium aspiration
Maternal hemorrhaging
Pulled too roughly out of the birth canal

But I'm sure that there are other possibilities as well.

Child 1. Hospital birth, Very long birth, no intervention or pain relief or gas and air.
Child 2. Homebirth, Medium long birth, no intervention or pain relief or gas and air. Cord around neck 3 times.

Child 1 has autism, child 2 neurotypical.

Wow, there's a hell of a lot of 'causes' of autism. I'm sure these things happen to more babies than not. I don't think autism has anything to do with it.

I had an easy birth. I was born 5 days after my due date but my mum did not need birth inducing tablets because she still went into labour naturally.
The birth wasn't too short nor too long. The cord was not wrapped around my neck at all. I cried when I came out.

They had cognitive problems.

That's interesting. I didn't think it would have had any effect on my autism until I found that article. Maybe it isn't as much of a factor as the study leads it to be. I think there are a vast number of possible "causes" or correlations!

My cousin had cord wrapped around his neck. He has no delays and is neurotypical. My uncle who has seizures was traumatized by medicines soon after birth, he started having seizures as a teen. There was also a head trauma before that so no one really knows.

Not a birth injury, but I experienced clear neonatal birth trauma from contracting a virus (probably the flu) through my mom before birth and nearly died. I was taken out 2 months early (the infection dried up the amniotic fluid and I needed more help than just having it replaced). So I had stopped growing in the womb, born by emergency C-section. I weighed 1 pound 8 oz and was given heavy doses of antibiotics (I was born with the virus and two kinds of jaundice) while in the NICU for 4 months before being healthy (and weighing) enough to leave.

As a result of all that, I am under 5 feet tall and had some developmental delays, have an extra-sensitive body and disabilities.

I had the cord around my neck and was born feet first on my stomach. Possible hip dysplasia
