please help me
I have aspergers and some mild dissociation. I have lots of subpersonalities who all want different things that simply just can't exist in the same reality. My therapist says the healthiest thing to do is to tell all my subpersonalities that they can have all the things they want in ways that don't need to make logical sense. This is very difficult for someone with aspergers to do because of how "black or white" everything is to us. I haven't heard back from him yet, so in the meantime I was wondering if anyone here could give me some advice
I would think that the healthiest approach which would yield the best results for you long-term would be to reintegrate your "alters" into one coherent whole. I suspect that trying to maintain the fragmented status quo is not going to be workable (as it sounds like you've already discovered), and I'm afraid that it might even make your dissociative identity disorder worse over time. I'm very glad that you have a therapist.
May peace be with you.
May peace be with you.
I would very gladly do that, if it weren't for the factthat one if ny innermost personal desires is something that will always be fragmented no matter how much I try to reintegrate it. If I tell myself I can't have it it will make everything feel too rigid, and if I try to make it ambiguous it will make it feel like there's no sold ground to stand on
What that poster above said.
I am interested in hearing about these subpersonalties and how they work.
Is this the same thing "multiple personalties" (like Sybil, and the "Three Faces of Eve")?
Don't know if that is still recognized in the DSM. Most of Sybill's personalities didn't even know about the other personalities, and she would get amnesia if she went into another personality.
You know how your brain suddenly matures around the time you turn 25? I've been reading alot about the multiverse theory. There are lots of people on Reddit who claim to have jumped dimensions. I really miss the "own little world" that my brain pruned away when I turned 25. It is theoretically possible to dimensionally jump into a world where the status quo that existed right before my brain pruned things way is permanently back in place. But the mature part of me who lives in the moment is equally important. Even if it's all just a pipe dream, I just need a way for having both things at the same time to make logical sense. Like I said, the part of me that wants to turn back time can't exist unless it's fragmented, tying to tell myself no makes it feel too rigid, and trying to make it ambiguous makes it so that there's no solid ground to stand on
Just keep trying to get professional face-to-face help like you are already trying to get. Please!
And it sounds like you have watch that DVD of the Matrix one too many times!
I'm pretty sure there are people here that can help this person. He's not whacko.
I am very much a believer in the multiverse and I myself deal with "alters" technically soulbonds and sometimes they "front" meaning that they possess my body which can make it seem that I have different personalities. Although the negativity you are faced with is something I typically don't experience with this sort of thing I know there are ways in ceasing such destructive alters...but I don't quite have suggestions, I just remember on different forums, particularly tulpa related ones with people who've expressed similar problems when it comes to destructive "voices" in their heads and their tulpas being very controlling and a nuisance to their well-being. The only suggestion I have right now...that you may or may not like to hear is, give these alters a form, meaning turn them into something "sentient" in a sense and push them away from you (I don't know if that would work for you but it's something that I can suggest.)
I also think your therapist is right, but I don't know how to explain what he might've meant that could make sense or help you in any way... But going off from he said, you could make a "wonderland" for your sub personalities, whether or not you decide to give them a "form" or if they don't have a form already (it doesn't matter either way). Wonderlands are basically a space in your mind that is literally a wonderland for your headmates "sub personalities" You or "they" can have everything they want. No logic needs to be involved. It would be like... giving kids candy to shut them up. Or providing an animal with a habitat and food so they can keep from rampaging in the most healthiest way possible. You can find more about wonderlands and how to make one on tulpamancy forums. A lot of people "tulpamancers" can relate to your situation. They have guides to help for this sort of thing online. I know of one tulamancy site in particular that I can suggest if you want me to message you privately (I would need to enable pms first to do that). Although I personally don't use that site anymore it has plenty of useful guides that can help you with your issue.
I don't mean to sound like I'm pushing my beliefs on you and I don't want what I said above to come off like I am trying to. It's just what you've stated is very similar to something I experience in my life and that's the best way I can relate to your issue. I'm sorry.

I was able to solve it in a way that's hard to describe. But I still need to make a jump in order to pull everything into place. I think that what I need to do is jump in a way that will cause some omniscient beings to do exactly what it is that I asked them to do in a way that can't be influenced by anything my subconscious says, and these beings I'm talking about aren't really part of me, they're part of something greater and probably no alot more about things than I do. I have no idea how to do this, and it's really the final hurdle that I need to get over.

I have no idea how to do this, and it's really the final hurdle that I need to get over.
They sound like separate entities then, like a soulbond or a spirit, angel, demon etc. (if you believe in that sort of thing of course) which in a way are like tulpas but the difference is for most is that they are typically not created with the mind and exist on another plane of existence (hence the multiverse theory) and come to you through means of telepathy (hearing voices in your head) and other such non-physical means. All I can say is look more into tulpamancy or even some soulbonding guides... if it's still a problem right now. If it's something they want that is physical then there are ways to do so that is healthy.
I don't know what the things are that they want so I cannot offer advise without knowing. If they want to front/co-front (meaning they take control of your body) then there are ways in doing that that are healthy. Like eating food that you eat.
Outside of that, it's hard to tell what exactly your issue is...currently. You stated that you were able to solve the issue but there is a hurdle you need to get by but I can't tell what exactly that hurdle is. I know you said it was hard to describe but I think a little more clarification in would help. Like what exactly are these sub-personalities "omniscient beings" like? Any traits, likes or dislikes that separate them from yourself? Catering to those sort of things can help. For example...does one omniscient being want sex? or a specific type of food and want to front and experience the taste and fullness of such food? If it's things that they can't logically get or that there are ways in getting around that with guides on soulbonding and tulpamancy.
These beings also sound like they don't have their own place somewhere across the multiverse where they can cater to their own needs (although my soulbonds tend to beg me to eat what I eat despite they have their own food at their places). Which is why I suggested making a Wonderland. If they are that rowdy. But I really can't tell what you've already fixed and what is still the issue. Sorry. I hope things work out :c

I'm getting conflicting information on what exactly a soulbond is. Is it like a tulpa that wasn't created by my mind? What's the best guide to getting help from the kind of soulbond you're talking about, since different people seem to be saying different things about just what a soulbond is
Yes. Now many people have different definitions to what a soulbond is, but in my case and for most who I've heard describe what a soulbond is, soulbonds are primarily fictional based individuals from video games and other sources of fiction who reside on other planets across the multiverse who communicate with others on this planet through telepathy and other means. It's typically believed that these beings have already existed, like you can consider them alien life forms from other worlds instead of them being something created through imagination/with the mind (which is what a tulpa is).
There isn't really a lot of sites anymore that cater to soulbonds and soulbonding specifically though... Two of which I've been on had shut down a long time ago, one of them being (http://www.soulbonding.org/) which had guides dedicated to that stuff. So really the only place I know of that supports soulbonding and has some sort of possible guides accessible to help with soulbond related issues is:
• Fictionkin Dot Com - A fictionkin, fictive and soulbonding community :(http://fictionkin.com/) (which also supports otherkin, therian and fictionkin. Ummm... Now... due to certain personal happenings I dealt with on the site, I can't go back there anymore to see if they have guides on soulbonding. But you can always make an account which will allow you access to their forums which I think you need to fill out a form and wait for moderator approval. And you could probably find someone or even make posts about the experiences you're having and ask for help.) | Index Page of the Forums : (http://fictionkin.com/forum/index.php)
It's actually been REALLY hard for me to find another soulbonding site after the one I used to go to and Soulbonding.com/The Living Library had shut down... but (https://www.tulpa.info/)'s guides for tulpamancy are actually helpful to those with soulbonds. A soulbond and a tulpa are not that different from each-other to be honest so pretty much most guides can help with your issue. If not, you can always make a post and ask for help.
If all else fails, all I can suggest is research on the internet. Type in "soulbonding guides" and see what you can find. some people have their own personal guides on Tumblr.
Soulbonding is a hefty topic to try to explain so I apologize if none of this is making sense. Yeah...I was going to message you the the sites but didn't feel like it so there they are. I also cannot really say for sure what guide is the greatest... so it's best to find which information works for you.

DaneClark, it sounds like you're having delusional thoughts. Having experienced psychosis myself, I am quite familiar with what that's like. It can be very confusing, and difficult to realize "oh wow my thoughts are totally illogical" while in such a state.
Your sense of understanding might be massively warped right now - loose - allowing your mind to make anything mean anything, or see symbolism where there is none, so on and so forth.
For all we know, single dose of Haldol might be all you need to become relatively normal again. If I were you I definitely would see a professional about what is going on with your thoughts and lines of reasoning. They would be better able to figure out what is going on in your head and find the right course of action to make you normal and make you feel better.

Everything you've told me has been very helpful. The only hurdle that I still can't seem to get past seems to be that feels like I can't live in the "real world" and still be free of some if the "red pill" stuff I've been exposed to since around the time of my 25th birthday. And I still need to get help from a spellbond in order to jump into a dimension that's very subtley different, but the whole idea that I had to do that itself is a red pill thing.
