And do you like spending time with people you don't know well?

I feel nervous when meeting new people, and I'd rather spend all my time with people I know very well.

I prefer talking to people I know well, but I am really loving getting to know new people at the various events I attend.

I would say it depends, primarily, on my mood.

I don't tend to do too well when I'm surrounded by people I don't know. Especially if a person whom I do know doesn't "help me out" in some way.

Actually I feel better between new people than between people who know me well because I can get a fresh start then. Old friends already seen a lot of my embarrassing behaviors and they either are angry with me, tired of me or pitying me and I already have a lot in common with them so I am afraid to make more mistakes so they don't hate me.
New friends only know about me what I show/tell them and even if I make a mistake and they decide they don't want to see me anymore I am not attached to them enough to care yet.

Depends how it turns out. I simply don't know until I've met them whether I'm going to like it or not. I like the idea in principle, though when I do meet new folks I usually feel a degree of anxiety and discomfort along with some hope that we'll get along well. I guess it's the much same for spending time with people I don't know very well. I'd be more comfortable sticking with a small number of people I know fairly well and get along with, but they're strewn all over the place and I don't suppose they're all going to move to my district just to please me.

I'm slow to warm up to new people but once I talk to them, I don't mind.
