I mean yes, interesting.

It could be bad. Sometimes too much logic with no emotion leads to too heavy handed justice.

A good exploration of this is seen in the Planescape D&D setting, there is faction called the Mercykillers, they are focused on Justice and rule of law above all other things.

True, I've seen that in many movies... but if the laws and rules that the rulers created ended up being good ones then maybe the world would be a better place since autistic people (with maybe some exceptions) have a liking to following the rules, at least when they make sense to them. And if all the big shots were autistic they would have the power to make sure that the others stayed in line and to punish them (in reasonable ways) if they didn't.

But well, seriously speaking it would still probably be bad. World is full of different people, so I think that there should be different people among those with power, too, so that everyone's views could be brought up somewhat evenly... not that this kind of thing can ever happen anywhere, but that'd be the ideal.

Yeah, it would work. Most autistics on WP say that autism is a difference and not a disorder, so why wouldn't we be able to run a society? It'd just be different to what it is, that's all.

And there will still be all the neurotypes needed for society with just autistics. The really focused autistics with very high IQs will be useful, but we are not all like that. Some of us (like myself) are illogical thinkers, are social, emotional, and can basically do anything an NT can, except in an all-autistic society it will be less awkward for us and can be ourselves more. So, yeah, autism is so diverse, that a society will work. But it will just be ran a different way.

"Work" is actually an interesting word to use here... I mean if you ask people "does the society we live in work?" the answer will depend on who you ask... someone really rich and satisfied with their life would most likely answer yes, but someone living in the street and who isn't too happy with their life... well, that person would probably say no. There would probably be both really happy and really unhappy people in the world no matter who ruled it and in what way.

I wouldn't want to have a leader who experiences difficulty interacting with others.

I don't like ANYBODY ruling me. But if I am to be ruled, I would want somebody who is amenable to listening to the ideas of others, and not stuck in their own mindset.

I don't believe I would want to live in a world ruled by autistic people---even though I'm autistic myself.

The world would certainly be a lot more interesting and hopefully accepting. We have a lot to say. This site alone just proves that we are not what non autistic people think we are. We care too much. It might be nice.

Autism Speaks wouldn't be around.

I would probably live off grid and hunt deer with a slingshot, because so far in my experience, many autists I have met rely on the help of others and cant even live independently. Out of about 20 autists I know, only two can live well on their own.

Trading a world ruled by sociopaths for one ruled by folks who get meltdowns if they try to manage anything?

I guess it would be just "trading one hell for another hell"!
