I have come to hate the term NT and here is why.

A lot of people are blind.
A lot people are deaf.
A lot of people are crippled or paralysed.
A lot of people are depressed.
A lot of people are abused.
A lot of people live is bone grinding poverty.
A lot of people live in war zones and have lived through horrible things.
A lot of people live a happy life only to be struck down by sickness,
A lot of people have been raped.
A lot of people have been in serious accidents.
A lot of people live with grief.

ASD Autism Aspergers also is something many people are living with.

My autism Aspergers sucks swapping from any of the list above does not seem very appealing.

My life I enjoy the good moments hate the bad moments and fly on autopolit through the mundane moments.

My point is make the best of our lives feeling sorry for ourselves will not improve things.

Yep. That’s a good way to look at things.

"neurotypical" sounds like a misleading word

Someone with Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Huntington's, schizophrenia, bipolar, brain damage, are still "neurotypical" as long as they are not autistic also

That's exactly it! Also, no matter how much difficulties you have, or how lucky you are you will die someday. Everything is temporary so might as well try to appreciate the little things.

I agree. Whatever obstacles we live with, we need to do our best with what we have. Some of us may achieve things differently from so-called "normal" people, but we can do them with the right kind of help and encouragement.

There are quite a few people out there that manage to be passed over in terms of suffering. That's just the way it is.
