Who keeps a blind closed when their in their room ?

When I'm doing something in my room I like to have a blind closed because I find the light glares ? It effects my sensory issues, I can seem to focus on what I'm doing.

Always. I hate direct sunlight. Also, my bedroom faces east (so the mornings are particularly bad), and it faces the street so I hate feeling like people might see me.
I might move to a different room which faces north west.

Blackout blinds are the best.

I do this. When people ask or try to open the blinds I joke that I'm a vampire.

I keep my blinds closed nearly all the time, mainly for privacy reasons. When you live next to a high school you never know what little peeping perverts could be watching you. Although if they saw *me* naked or nearly naked, I'm sure they'd be reaching for the eye bleach.

I always keep blinds closed but I have a rare low vision disorder that includes being sensitive to lighting conditions & seeing better in lower light. I also really like my privacy. My girlfriend's on the spectrum & likes light but keeps the blinds closed cuz of anxiety. We're really close to the sidewalk & neighbors.

I have to keep the blinds closed because I live in the inner city and my neighbors can see into my house if I don't. I wish I did not have to because I LOVE natural lighting. Sunlight is really therapeutic for me and the night sky is so incredibly beautiful and relaxing. I love camping because I can experience that. But because of where I live I must keep my blinds closed.

The blinds in my room are nearly always closed. And when I'm at my computer desk sometimes, the glare of the sun sometimes does bother me, so I close the curtains until the sun moves to a position where it's not right in my eyes.

i used to keep my room/environment as dark as possible all the time. this changed about a year ago as i found that even though i find sunlight/glare hard to deal with, the consequences for my general health of not getting proper sun exposure has made me more able to cope with it. make no mistake i would prefer not to have to endure the discomfort but hormesis is a thing ...

I have blackout curtains and 25 watt lighting. I am okay with sunlight outdoors wearing shades. But I like my room to be dimly lit.

In the evening I do. At night I like to keep two smaller lights on opposed to the one large overhead light.

In daylight hours, I tend to keep them partially open for some natural light. My room is on the second floor with my desk near a window, and at certain hours the sun shines directly on me which isn't comfortable.

My curtains in my room are permanently closed. Same with the blinds in the study. It's more for privacy then light since I still have the living room curtains open. Well except when there's bright sunshine making the telly impossible to watch.

I do and it drives my dad insane.

Blinds open and windows open when the weather is appropriate for that during the daytime(and when I am not getting dressed). "Let the Sunshine In"
