I don't know how it went. I have been having some personal trouble though and I can't talk about it publicly but I am really hurting right now. Just want to say that. I will just have to wait for the results of the hearing. Hopefully it will be favorable.

I hope so, too.

I'm rooting for you.

And I'm "praying" for you---even though I have no religion.

What is an SSI hearing, if you don't mind me asking?

Wishing you the best possible outcome, and sooner rather than later. Hope it works out brilliantly.

Thank you so much all of you. I had an ISP (Individual Service Plan) meeting yesterday as well right before the hearing with Service Access Management. They asked about my social life and if I had friends. I told them that I am not really interested in having much of a social life but I have really fantastic friends on WP. Thank you so much you guys.

An SSI hearing is a hearing at Social Security to determine if someone is eligible for Supplemental Security Income payments. They will determine if they consider me disabled and whether or not I can government money every month to help me survive. I have already been denied disability three times because I was not diagnosed as a child. We are now at the federal appeal level for the disability case. Hopefully we will hear from that soon as well. I hope that we can win at that level as well as have me declared disabled for SSI. I can only work a maximum of 20 to 25 hours a week and I can only work very specific types of jobs in extremely limited environments so I am never able to make enough income to survive. But I keep getting denied disability benefits because I am considered very high functioning and because I was not diagnosed as a child.
