My answer is a guess. I remember getting in trouble in grade school because I told some classmates that Santa wasn't real, because I had watched a documentary on PBS about the origins of Santa. It was either in Kindergarten or first grade. Don't remember for sure. But I had been suspicious about Santa for a while and how Santa's handwriting looked just like my moms!

I was skeptical about Santa's existence from around the age of 6 or 7. Before then, I didn't really know about "Santa."

However, I was good on Christmas Eve "just in case" for a much longer time after I was 7. I had a Santa doll until around age 12/13.

I never really believed but I went along with it when others acted like he was real.

I don't remember ever believing in Santa. I am the youngest of several siblings. That may have influenced the never believing.

I had not long had my 9th birthday when I found out he wasn't real. But I think I was beginning to not believe in him any more anyway because when I was told by my older cousin that it's our family members that bring us presents for Christmas, it all made sense to me, and I laughed and accepted that all the Santa stuff was just a fictional tale for little kids.

7 or 8. I just realized then that logically, it wasn't possible for Santa to be real, because one man can't actually visit the house of every single child on the planet in one night!

None. Secular Christmas celebration isn't as emphasized from where I live. Nor just as encouraged that way.

The nice and naughty list is dictated either by relatives, godparents, or which ever god they believe.
None of them goes by the name Santa. He's more of a delivery person to me if I ever believed he's real.

Santa Claus, to me, as far as I could remember, is more of a mascot or icon derived from another, possibly once living person.

I was never led to believe he was real.
I was told the story of Saint Nicholas as a kid, but I knew he had died, as had Saint Patrick.
