How to know when people are flirting?

I kind of like this one guy in my school. I would like to be able to know if he also likes me.

How can I tell if someone is flirting with me?

I have been trying to figure that out for 65 years and I still don't know.

Repeat conversations you have with this guy to an NT friend and see if they freak out.

Or have someone you trust listen in on the two of you talking, see if they pick up some hints you might miss.

Just if he pays you much more attention than to other people, smiles or laughs always in your direction and looks into your eyes while doing it, tries to be near to you and to talk to you and tries to draw your attention. It's onto you to react to it and to enforce him with this by smiling back or to block him by just looking angry just if he tries.
If you want him for doing so just try a short bright smile to him once he looks at you to to make him to want you. It's the magic of a smile that makes girls and boys to like each other but there are also more hidden signals in body language.
