I wrote the biggest and most important English exam I will ever have on Wednesday.

Although I don't yet know my grade I have counted my points and will get an Eximia. Based on my calculations I have missed 27 points out of 200. I cannot grade my own essay so I am assuming I will get about 80-85 points out of 99.

This would make my point total to about 260/299.

Eximia is the second highest - Laudatur being the highest possible grade.

I feel disappointed.

I remember a freshman chemistry exam in college. They posted the answers after the exam was finished so everyone could calculate their own result. I got something like an 89 -- the first time I had gotten anything below 90. I was walking back to my dorm, very discouraged, and another guy in the class stuck his head out the window, smiling and happy. "How did you do?" he yelled. "Not very well," I said. He yelled back, "I did great, I got a 78!"

So it's all a matter of perspective. :D

I remember hearing the term "matriculation" once before but totally forgot what it means ... Sounds pretty rough though ):
