I think this is a cool idea - one of my favorite people to be around is the one who helped me get diagnosed and we talk online mostly because of the eye contact thing and I can talk online and when I try to do it in person my brain shuts off . . .

So, anyway, we have a lot of people in common so we tend to end up at the same events (i.e. the person I like to be around's son's funeral last night) - so we got this idea to describe them from each person's point of view in e-mails to show the differences - this has been just something fun to do for a few weeks - but a friend of hers is a publisher and she told her about this idea and she wants to turn it into a book! Wow!

This thread is (kind of) old but I thought I'd bring it up...

I thought it was really cool you guys were doing that. It's so funny; I'm actually in the midst of writing (and rewriting and rewriting and rewriting and rewriting) a book of fiction, where I'm writing the same plot from about ten different peoples' perspectives. :D (Which is, by the way, excrutiatingly difficult for me. All of my characters keep ending up sounding like the same person.)

Anyways, I just wanted to say congratulations on it, and good luck, and to share this. I was re-reading through the threads and thought it was such a coincidence! :D

That is cool! We turn the first chunk of the book in to the publisher next week (with my new job this person I like to be around is handling all the technical stuff since I'm VERY busy) . . . I'm pretty excited! :D
