It has been just about a year since I found Wrong Planet and I want to take this Thanksgiving opportunity to say thank you to everyone on the forum.

I am grateful for the thoughtful posts and new-to-me information about autism and world events. I am grateful for the opportunity to "converse" with people, who agree with me, who give me new things to think about and those whose opinions differ from mine, maybe especially the latter.

I am thankful for finding the first group in nearly 65 years where I actually feel like I belong. I am grateful for the advice, the words of wisdom, and the support. I am grateful for all the posts, even if I don't respond. I am grateful for the people who read, but do not post.

Most of all I am thankful to have found a diverse group of people who are genuinely interesting. It is such a pleasure. I feel like I was in the desert all my life and now there is an oasis.

Happy Thanksgiving to all, wherever you are.
