Does anyone else do this due to OCD?

I think in my case it's been a symptom of trauma as well, but I often feel as if I'm living in a really dusty, overloaded thrift store full of crap

Having a lot of stuff sucks and hinders one's life unless you like where you live, which I do not

Anyone else experience this as part of their autism generally??

I find it hard to throw away stuff that’s still usable

Detail-focusing is a part of autism, and I find it hard to forget about things even if I throw them away or give them away
I believe a lot of compulsive hoarders must be on the autism spectrum

Yeah, I also struggle to organize/find the stuff I have. I think it ties in with poor Executive Functioning.

Ah, ha! I can blame it on poor executive functioning. :D

I have to get the gumption to clean out my closet and throw out unnecessary paper junk. It's really bugging me. Otherwise, I don't have a hoarding mentality.

Yeah that happens to me a lot. I own loads of useless junk which sits in my room gathering dust, but I can't throw it away because it has to be there for some unknown purpose and reason.
