I have a routine for wearing my clothes and washing them . That means I wash them on Mondays and Fridays. I change socks and underwear every day. Tshirts and trousers are worn Monday and Tuesday,Wednesday and Thursday, Friday/Saturday/Sunday.

I am all right washing them but struggle with hanging them on a clothes horse to dry . This means the carer(Monday) and stepdaughter(Friday) do it for me.

This Friday as my stepdaughter is on holiday I'll be struggling to do it myself. I thought about changing the day to Saturday when she'll be back but that would mess things up.

I have that kind of problem too, my advice is to do your best to maintain your routine, even if the results are less than perfect.

Set up a micro To-Do-list for every part of the process:
Example.
1. Collect the trousers, that need to be washed. 2. Soak them. 3. Put them in hot water and scrub. 4. Shift the water. 5. Clean out the soap. 6. Dry them. .....mission accomplished!
Reward yourself.... and go to next micro to-do list.

That´s how I manage days, where things don´t seem to want to be done  It takes some time, but it works.
