I’m having Sooooo Much Trouble, I’m having trouble with my apartment, my foot, my leg, Tooooo Much noise, my anxiety is worse, I can get anxiety now at night & in the middle of the night. My apartment giving me bad anxiety, I can cry sooo much, so much noise from my neighbors, I’m in bad mood alot, everything getting worse living here, I’m REALLY GOING OUT OF MY MIND. My cat is meowing alot, I been telling her to shut up, I ran out of cat treats, I want to groceries shopping online, but I couldn’t bring myself to do it. I’m bad mother. I don’t know how to handle things, I hate having Aspergers. When I had my surgery last year for my broken ankle, my bones didn’t healed right, it’s like my elbow, I broke the same elbow 3 times when I was a child, I needed surgery too, it didn’t healed right. I saw a foot specialist, he said I need surgery, he leaving it up to me. I wish my mom was here, I been thinking about her alot since Mother’s Day is coming.

I'm sorry you are having such a hard time. What family do you have, and where are they?

I think you need to talk to a psychiatrist about getting some medication or maybe changing what you are already on.

I’m sorry you’re struggling so much!

I can imagine how this would be a difficult time of year.

To follow up on Bea’s excellent advice, you might want to find a counselor (if you don’t have one already) to work through this stuff.

There are also psych rehab type of programs (which include group therapy) that can be an excellent outlet for some people and a way to broaden your support system and make friends when you don’t have family to fall back on.

Sometimes it can help to have a refuge like a person or place you can go (even if it is only for an hour or two). The anticipation of having a respite can even provide some comfort during an "storm".

I do not know if your mother is only temporarily unavialble or if there is anyone else that you could turn to, but if you are unable to connect with anyone else this forum can be helpful. I worked on a Crisis hotline many years ago and often people would call in because they had no one else that would listen. Often they would not be interested in any advice, but just needed someone to care.

It is difficult for us with Aspergers because frustrations and anxieties can build (sometimes suddenly) resulting in frustrations and aggravations. If one is unable to keep those things that frustrate at bay, it may be possible to reduce their effect by taking a time out for a favorite book, movie, or even some indulgence such as a soak in a warm tub.

If you are religious at all, you might find someone at your church who would be willing to lend a hand or an ear as needed.

Me too. If it helps, the more you work at something, the closer you get to your goal. I'm struggling a lot right now but I'm pushing with the knowledge I will eventually fix the situation, as long as I try to, or at least make resolve with what bothers me.
