Where Do I Go?
While I am still in San Francisco. I've received comments regarding both my health and the climate for me regarding the power structure's opinion of me that has me thinking that I might go back to Santa Cruz...not necessarily for the long-term, maybe as a springboard for somewhere else. Somewhere cheaper, where I could get a place...and bring/have the things I have in storage in Santa Cruz with me. and get the things I inherited from Bruh.
I need to get a new paper copy Social Security card for something important, and I think, maybe, that I could get that done more readily in Santa Cruz.

If you have any sort of ID, you can certainly get that done in SF.
First they’ll put your stuff through a metal detector.
Fill out the form. Take a number. Then sit in one of those chairs.
Just be patient. Bring something to read or use your phone. Wait till they call your number.
...Well, KK, you have stumbled - backwards . - on a secondary angle of this for me. The Santa Cruz SS office, at least in my past intercourse with it. is sorta pleasantly small town-ish . - not as industrial/overloaded as the SF one;s gave been in.my experience with them. I had one particular experience with them- Hey, remember these promo ads/commercial spots with Patty Duke encouraging you to get Social Security? (Tho' I don't know if they ever ran on TV, they'd be on monitors within the SS offices.) She's deceased now, IIRC, so I guess they don't use 'em anymore . There was a ad with Chubby Checker duplicating the pose he made one of his original 60s albums though IIRC I only saw it in Spanish. Who knew ?
Twi, there's some " lifetime limit " on how many times you can get a new SS card. I'm far from reaching it, you gave been through more cards than I have...but it contributed to my hesitancy on getting a replacement for my last lost one.

...Letme go into the background here, at least something while my back is hurting
Yesterday, I had a, briefly, This Is The Last Straw! moment with the shelter J was in (MSC South - a 90-day bed) Luckily, I was able to get another shelter bad - As of now it seems to be better. It was through HOT Team. The My nurse Practitioner I see there, though, head some not real great bmnews/opinion involving my kidneys (More larer).

...The NP said that my kid yes we're in. such a state. that I would need dialysis soon. That was not said in the sense of " You need dialysis NOW " , but in the sense of " You will need dialysis soon ". M, which has been said to me before. She was also warning that the state of my kidneys were so that, if it continued, I might not last much longer.
This was not a " You WILL die " but. a " It could happen if ". Now, actually. In. 2016 or so, a doctor at that time said to me that, at that present moment, my condition was so that I might be dead in a year - I made comment about that here and I think a background comment I made regarding thaft at the time is still up. I got better then and that medical warning was withdrawn/said to be no longer a true warning.
She also said This at the housing-oriented Social Services people pretty much considered me not someone they co u'll d work with, not someone to get an apartment for.

...If that is the case, maybe I will go back to Santa Cruz - It might be easier to get a new Social Security card there (which I need to pursue an opportunity for something that would get me some money( - and, the things I have in storage are in SC. I want do much to have a place and read those readables, etc., that are there I find myself thinking of that - and, IF my time isn't much longer - Now, I'll repeat, the NP was not saying that I was going to die - I had had a greater-likelihood-of-death prediction given a few years back and I improved and the possible.death prediction was dropped - But. IF ...
The NP was, in fact. suggesting I apply to Laguna Honda, a kind of pretty-seriously-I'll city hospital - It was referred to as falling in the Department of Hospice Care or suchlike.
As it was described to me, I don't think I'd much like the circuma
stances - I would at least to read those readable, etc., if I am facing a pretty near sunset . I don't want a roommate in a hospital.
I'd like, I guess, to be alone with my stuff The condition of " my own room " I had when I was 18/1\ seems in retrospect to be about the best thing I ever had .
I pretty much lived alone . The Aspergers' " difficulty with social codes " I suppose hampered my making friends - and then other circumstances of my life prevented me from reaching out/having the secure ground underneath my feet to make face-to-face friends .

...Maybe I could find a place in/around SC ~ MAYBE my condition might impress them as " sick enough " ? In the area, anyway. Or maybe prepare to leave for elsewhere? ~ Maybe I could scare up enough money to move somewhere cheaper ~ but where ? My stuff in storage is there. Recently, I was, in theory, a day or two-ish away from " officially " casting myself down in San Francisco ~ by getting a storage place here, with the thought of moving the SC stuff there and getting the stuff I inherited from Bruh sent here. But now I've reversed that. The stuff is, in a sense, my ball & chain...but I WANT IT!! ! At least I could read, etc., and maybe finish out my life comfortably .
It now looks like my latest cheap phone may have been stolen from the shelter - I'll try once again to look to-night - If I can't find, though some money has come...I'll have to buy a new one too-morrow . Always endless emergencies in my life ~ Often, it seems to me/I might argue, imposed by outside forces. My digestive/elimination problems make me have problems with my underwear and pants . Expensive.

...I have practically nowhere I can sit and comfortably read ~ and my eyes are , often, not in great shape . If I get that windfall I think Im mentioned, I would have to find some place before it ran out ~ but how ?

...I really go through a lot of pants - and especially underpants. It's expensive to be poor . My elimation difficties tend to lead me to pretty soiled underpants . Often, they're so dirty - even after just one day - that I.don't want to keep them around - thinking they'd stain. tho vs, dirty thing. even if I do keep them - if I had normal to.e and enough space somewhere to have a safe laundry bag I could leave things in while I'm waiting to wash them and they'll be safe - Well, J do 't have that.
I'm homeless. and now in a shelter with little room. The
a outside pants I wear - pretty much all what are, essentially anyway, pajamas or sweatpants - about the only thing I can easily find that will fit me - Well, after underwear.with soiling is do
Mhas been in just a little bit. I can often see so a poop stavin discernable on the other side and I tend to feel somewhat guilty sitting anywhere with that (I have both underpants and pants on) but I do .
Furthermore. with my limits x shelter space, I have little space. and so few.clithes, and run out of them quick - even if I'm not having my clothes stolen- And I've that happen (and more stolen) so much recentky - two phones stolen in the course of a few days, for instance .

...The big San Francisco Gay Pride thing is this weekend but I really won't be able to go to the " fair " component - they ask for a suggested donation, anyway, and I don't have money for that - Let alone get some festival food, some punch and a wedge/cheesteak . I have nearly NO money, especially after the replacing lost and stolen clothes and stolen phones . I am sort of counting down to leaving SF, when that money I hope for comes in - and return to Santa Cruz, where my stuff is in storage and I'm hoping I could find something there .
