Accepted for EU disability card

Today I got an email saying I was accepted for getting a EU disability card.

Its a pilot project in 8 EU countries. Finland being one of them. Here you have to send a message to the office that handles pensions/disability aids/etc with an official decision, and if that is accepted you can order the card.

I will be getting the card with an A on it, meaning that I have a right to bring an assistant with me as well as having a symbol showing I have a service dog.

Posting incase anyone else here lives in the EU, so that they themselves can apply for a card or inquire as to why their country is not in the project yet.


Can post about my experiences with the card as soon as I have gotten it (estimated one month)
