For a period of time after I was diagnosed with ASD I had these issues. I did not know what was me, what was the Autistic part of me, what was added skills and what was me faking myself.

I figured out that at this stage of my life my Autism and my personality are so fused together it is pointless to try and figure out which part of me is which.

During some years of my childhood until my teenage years I went through many moments that could be framed as DPD. They disappeared overnight but after reading this text I was worried that the DPD might come back. It was like living with an emotional gag locked in a bubble.
