One thing i noticed about myself is that i make weird head movements or cant keep my head still at times.

I havent been diagnosed with cerabal palsy or dyspraxia either.

So why would autism/aspergers make someone have unusual movements with your neck/head?

Might be a stim or a habit.

I don't have unusual head movements but some Aspies here might be able to relate to you.

I tilt my head all the time, and move it just to stretch my neck. In photos from my childhood I often have my head sideways (my ear almost on my shoulder). I also stretch my head backward with my chin up in the air, or side to side as far as possible. I think I do it to relieve muscle tension from anxiety, but it might be a stim too. I'm an obsessive stimmer so I'll do nearly anything for sensory input.

My boyfriend says that I tilt my head all the time when I talk. I have no idea what he is talking about when he says that I did it. I don't realize it. No clue why I do it.

I have a strong tendency to tilt my head a bit to the left. I don't know why, I'm usually not even aware I'm doing it unless I'm thinking about it. I also have occasional neck twitches that make my head move.

Every school photo too.

In some I even had my body turned slightly sideways.
Then my mum would tell me how spastic I look.

I tilt my head slightly to the left. Whenever I go to get my haircut, the hairdresser has to keep telling me to straighten up so that my haircut will be even. I don't really get the point in that though, since if it's habitually a bit tilted, my hair would actually look more even if they followed the tilt.

I try to be aware of my posture as much as possible though, so I'm only lopsided when my thoughts are elsewhere.

The exact same thing happens to me. Every time. It's due to my eyesight though, my left eye is lazy and long-sighted and my right eye is strong and short-sighted. Somehow that makes me tilt my head and has done so all my life.

Before I started taking meds for motor-tic disorder, I would stretch my neck jerkily sometimes. Thankfully my medication stops this.

I don't move my head but sometimes I will squinch my face up.

In recent years I've developed the habit of sometimes moving my head up and to the left suddenly. It's been happening since I changed jobs from physical work to keying on a computer all day, so mostly it's just because my neck is stiff and hurting. But I notice it happens a lot more when I get stressed out, so also some kind of nervous tic I guess.
