I don't read comics nor I watch tv shows.

Regarding books, I'm mostly interested in philosophy and literary fiction. My main philosophical interests are philosophy of science and philosophy of mind. My main literary interests are harder to define, but I like these authors: Kafka, Borges, Calvino, Kavan.

I don't watch many movies, so I haven't narrowed my preferences enough. I watched Nosferatu recently and I liked it; I've plans to watch Metropolis next saturday.

I keep register of everything I read through goodreads, and of everything I watched through letterboxd. I'd share these links but this is not the members-only board and I don't want to make them public (sometimes I use a real picture as avatar).

I used to read Simpsons comics but otherwise I'm not really a comic person.

I don't watch much TV but if I do I watch series of things like emotional dramas, documentaries and British humour shows.

I don't read many books but if I've seen a movie of a book, I prefer to watch the movie first before reading the book, as I find watching movies easier than reading books.

I like all sorts of movies, and as I'm getting older I seem to be expanding my taste with movies. I mostly enjoy movies about families (movies with children in) even if they're horror movies.
But I like family films, horror films, drama films, comedy-drama films and comedies. I can't stand superhero films or action films. I like films to involve lots of emotion and everyday social interaction.

Nothing very specific.

I'd like genres of comedy, action, horror... Of any settings, in various medium or platform.
And of course I'd like a good plot.

I used to read various superhero comics (mostly Batman and Spider-Man) along with other titles like The Walking Dead. Nowadays, I only read the crime fiction comic Criminal on a regular basis plus other titles by the same writer and artist. I still read superhero stuff occasionally if I see something that looks interesting such as the current Batman mini-series Last Knight On Earth.

Regarding books, I mainly read literary fiction (mostly sci-fi, fantasy, dystopian and satirical works) as well as books that focus on history, politics, economics and culture.

As for TV shows, I tend to watch news broadcasts, documentaries (especially history and nature ones), drama, comedy and sports (mainly tennis, athletics and horse racing).

I usually watch the news or tennis on television.

As for books, I mainly like to read biographies, but I also like to read about my favorite subjects. I love to collect books about cats.

Never cared much for comic books but as for shows, books and movies I really like fantasy and sci-fi, so there is that. There is just not enough of the former especially when it comes to movies/shows(that are good I know plenty of crappy ones have existed). Though with Game of Thrones and talk of a prequel for that and the recent Dark Crystal Age of Resistance there is hope for it.

I like some horror, but a lot is disappointing to and I don't find gore horror like The Saw entertaining I've tried and then I am just waiting for the pointless movie to be over...I actually tend to prefer psychological thrillers if I want something to give me the chills.

I like documentaries about nature/wildlife, science, social/human issues, different cultures, drugs, medical stuff ect. I used to be more into history but kind of interesting to see what is going on now than having my head stuck in the past, so I've certainly kinda moved away from that.

I also enjoy some comedy, I watch some stand up but two of my favorites are dead Mitch Hedberg and George Carlin have not really found a new favorite but there's some decent ones. And I like shows like South Park, The Orville, Bobs Burgers, The Simpsons, Futurama. I like satirical, parody type comedy and sketch comedy...recently I was watching a show called Mr. Show with my boyfriend(I don't recall seeing it whenever it was actually airing) but that one is hilarious.
And that about covers what I like.

I could’ve gotten into Game of Thrones if the rednecks around me and my older brother didn’t ruin it for me. He and my father also love South Park and think anime is “gay” or “Japanese porn”. My father also constantly balks at my interest and will imitate Cartman’s pie quote so I can’t stand South Park because of him.

Marknis, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but how about you visualise yourself in these situations in a shiny, inpenetrable suit of armour with a bright purple plume on the top, where nobodies negative words can penetrate. That's it, they said it, they think it, fine, but you haven't absorbed it cos you are protected !

I like old war sitcoms such as Hogan's Heroes, MASH and Gomer Pyle. I also like rock n roll sitcoms such as The Monkees and The Partridge Family. I also like Saved by The Bell, The Brady Bunch and The Flintstones. As far as newer TV shows are concerned, I like America's Got Talent and American Idol. My favourite animated series is Om Nom Stories featuring my favourite, little Sweet Pea.

I like Austin Powers movies, Woodstock, Beatles movies and You Really Got Me which is a documentary on The Kinks. I love to watch documentaries in general, especially documentaries on the 60s and the Civil Rights Movement.

I like positive books about autism and biographies.

I'm not into a lot of live action stuff, I find myself liking a lot more cartoons and anime. I'm kinda casual with book and comic reading but not big into movies.

I totally get this, I can't get into Deadpool because of similar people. I take it these people wear a lot of forest camo?

Generally most of that which would be regarded as 'mainstream' is avoided.

TV - I watch evening quiz programmes, including Pointless and Eggheads on the BBC. The latter has a specific set of nine categories that can possibly appear in an episode. My ranking of them (in terms of best to worst on a personal basis) is:

Politics
History
Geography
Sport
Science
Arts and Books
Film and Television
Music
Food and Drink

...and the above gives a fairly good outline of where my general knowledge lies. Aside from that I like watching news and certain documentaries. Occasionally I might find a fictional programme that I enjoy - The Simpsons, The Sopranos, The West Wing, Breaking Bad and various older cartoons are some examples. Soap operas have sometimes been a fixture for me too.

Comics - Never been a regular reader of comics, but I did used to occasionally.

Books - My mind is crammed with random sports statistical and historical facts due to my being a reader of those kinds of books (Rothman's, Wisden, a great rare book called "Football The Beautiful Game" and others) when I was younger. Biographies, politics, history etc are read too. Again, fiction is something that I enjoy on quite select occasions.

Movies - Went through a period of being what might be called a 'film buff', but that's gone largely by the wayside. Comedy stands out as something that I rarely enjoy, in all of these categories but particularly in movies.
