If we take this question and apply it to the Neurotypical population males show many more autistic tendancies than females.
NT Females are naturaly very good at socialising, they can also be quite charismatic.
NT Males are good at socialising, but not quite as good as the females, some are also charismatic but more NT females have this than NT Males.

I guess that depends on the degree of autism each has.
However, I think that males and females tend to show their autistics symptoms in different ways.

If we're talking about the level of "autistic" in relation to the majority of the aspie population, than the answer would me "male", due to the highly unbalanced M/FM ratio.

I agree - and I think that the focus has been on males. Just like for so many years the signs of heart attack were based almost solely on the symptoms males exhibit yet now medical science is realizing that women can experience the symptoms for the same medical condition in a different way. I think this has resulted in alot of women being underdiagnosed.

You are more mature and fit in better in your teens than we do. We are more isolated socially.

I think it depends on the individual person who has it.

This has been my general sense from reading WP. So I vote, "yes."

Females in general are usually better able to pay attention to details so maybe we can pick up on subtleties even when impaired.

I think that it depends. In "Asperger's Syndrome: A Guide for Parents and Professionals" it says that yes, male autistics have a more severe expression of the syndrome, but at the same time females seem to go through the condition longer than they do, and don't grow out of some autistic symptoms as fast as boys do. Girls can socialize a little better than guys can on the spectrum, but I still say that it depends on which aspect on autism that you're talking about. So, guys express a more severe form of autism, but I can't fully say that they are "more autistic" than girls, but I can say that they are "more autistic" in the sense that they show a more severe expression of autism as in they seem a little more anti-social or have a more severe expression of some autistic behaviors.

That's so generalized and nonspecific as to be unanswerable.

In general, I think males will tend to have more severe manifestations of autism than females. Autism is heavily skewed towards males. This means that, in a sample of men and a sample of women, the male sample will be "more autistic" than the female one.
