In Schizophrenia the brain is shrunken; I see it more as "withdrawn" from reality. I think I would rather go back to having only Social Anxiety. Sometimes I think there is a connection between Social Anxiety Disorder and ASD. I tend to feel uncomfortable in social settings. Social Anxiety is the least understood anxiety disorder.

No. There is no 'cure' for either one.

Well, when one thinks about it, there is no 'cure' for any disease. If one assumes the word 'cure' means to completely vanquish a disease, such as cancer, then there is no 'cure'. The human body produces cancer cells every day, even when in its normal state. It's analogous to the notion that the human body needs free radicals in small amounts; having zero free radicals can cause the body to stop functioning.

In order for autism to be a cure for schizophrenia, you would have to 'catch' autism as if it was a microbial or viral disease, which it isn't. Same for schizophrenia being used to cure autism.
