So i recently made a mission for myself,

When i was young my parents promised me they would take me and my sister to disney world and of course it never happened, so here i am at 19 and i still just want to go to disney world at least once before i die. I keep going through depressions and hearing people talk about "that time they went to disney world" and i just want to go there once, just to say that i went there, i dont want to go on the rides or see mickey mouse i want to go and see the sights and get one of those overpriced kick ass balloons. The only problem is im poor as f**k, so i decided that im turning 19 in 24 days, which means in canada i can officially buy my own Lottery tickets; so why not play the lottery? i want to play anyways and looking at the prices for a disney land trip, a trip to Disney LAND in california for 4 days will probably be over 5000 dollars give or take, and thats including plane tickets, food, hotels and so on. So i promised myself that i will play 14 different lottery tickets every 2 weeksuntil i win at LEAST $6000 and take my family to disney land. One issue...

Im terrified of people in mascot costumes, like, i cry and become paralyzed if i see one and Disneyland if f*****g full of them, so i have a plan to wear a T-shirt that says im Masklaphobic, and please if you are in a costume not to come near me.

Is anyone else here Masklaphobic i hear its common amongst people on the spectrum.

I didn't go to Disney world until I was 37. So don't feel bad. BTW: if you book with orbitz. I could get a 1 week DW package with airfare, hotel and park tickets for about $850 for an off season period. I would highly recondmand that you go at an off season time if you can. not only is it a whole lot cheaper. but there are far less people there and the lines are shorter. I never had to wait more then 15 minutes in line for a ride. Off season is the best time for an aspie to go.

I once saw a woman on Dr. Phil years ago who had a similar phobis - clowns and animal suits (like the Easter Bunny) terrified her, and she felt guilty because her son couldn't wear costumes on Halloween and she couldn't take him to Disneyland. She had no problem with Santa Claus, however. Her phobia, like most phobias, was the result of a traumatizing experience she suffered in childhood. But of course, this being Dr. Phil, the trauma wasn't something you hear about every day. As a kid, she was happily watching her favorite show on TV when her house was broken into. Of course that wasn't very unusual. But the invaders were all cross-dressers or drag queens. But to her they looked like clowns, with their wild hair and gaudy outfits. Also the show she was watching at the time was The Mickey Mouse Club. And that's why she developed a phobia of clowns and anthropomorphic animal costumes. Of course, unlike some other "talk" shows where the topic is phobias, they didn't force her to go to the circus or anything like that.

I've always loved mascots. A few years ago I was in the local Santa Claus parade, dressed like Fiona the Ogress. I can't understand why so many people say they're all pedophiles or that being a mascot for a living is something only uneducated second-class citizens do. Underneath those costumes most of them are just regular people making a living. Actually they're more like actors or comedians in costume. It's probably better at Disneyland though, where they probably get paid good money and the characters are famous and beloved than some cheap carnival.

Why would you make a mission to do something that will expose you to terror?
Why not go somewhere else with your family?
I don't understand this at all.

The laws of probability do not suggest that this is likely to be an effective strategy for any goal other than losing money.

These seem to be profoundly irrational decisions. Is there any chance that you are having problems with a medication or are in a psychotic break of some kind? I think you should discuss these decisions with a mental health professional as soon as possible.

I am scared of clowns and dolls and creepy masks and puppets. Oh, and I can't stand ticking clocks.

ZombieBrideXD — have you ever considered the likelihood that the ordering of your priorities is the REASON that you are poor as fork?
