Stray cat causing issues for me. My support people both have bad allergies and severe asthma or have children who do.The cat apparently looks mangy and used the sidewalk and areas in front of and behind my apartment as its commode. The apartment management claims to have called animal control several times without anything being done which surprises the support person who works with me most often who claims that if the right wording were used animal control will definitely come and do something about it. What do I do? This is the apartment managements and my supports problem not mine. I don't want to lose my apartment over it. I don't know why the one support thought that that the other support was a good choice to give me if she too had the same severe allergy asthma issue.

You could find someone to help you catch the cat; they could take it to an animal shelter.

You could also call a fur trapper. I'm not kidding! ADC (animal damage control) specialists are a subset of the old-time fur trapper and they know their stuff. I used to have a fur trapper's license and have done a bit of trapping but there are so many people who are very good at it. If you can find a trapper locally who can get the cat & take it to a shelter, then you are in better shape.

If you have an automobile, make sure the cat is not hiding on the engine on cold nights.

Why would you lose your apartment?

Ditto. I don't see the correlation of how this would make you loose your apartment?

Rue, lavender, rosemary, pennyroyal, Coleus canina, and lemon thyme are plants cats don't like the smell of. If you were to put undesirable plants out around your apartment or if you used them to make a spray and spray your apartment area frequently the cat may leave on its own.

Citrus sometimes can work too. Cayenne pepper flakes are also an option, but they can sting :/

Otherwise you might be looking at trying to catch it to bring it to a shelter. BUT I wouldn't go about trying to catch the cat if it's feral, that should be handled by animal control.

I was just writing out my reply and accidentally touched a part of the screen that shouldn't have touched and entire long explanation of everything that happened.Long story to short about what I was writing is that what happened was actually very complicated and that was causing a miscommunication that I thought would end up making me look like nasty trouble making people and I would get kicked out. This just adds to the long list of grievances I have dealing with people who can't comprehend, only I've noted that people can't understand because the most problematic are either complicated or someone just gets fooled.Personally the only sensory aspect of my issues only involve a very long lasting and unbearable mental pain and shame.
