Are there podcasts by and for Aspergers folks which deal with cultivating empathy? I am not completely cut off from my wife, but usually I say the wrong thing inadvertently when trying to comfort her. We're both sensitive people and on the Spectrum. In some ways, I interface with the world a bit more easily, and in other ways she does. I don't paraphrase or reflect very well despite social work training.

Also, does anyone have recommendations for adult size noise blocking earmuffs? We were considering these: MSA Ear Muffs,Over-the-Head,Dielectric,28dBA, 10087399. We don't need wireless or bluetooth, just extreme noise reduction and we can go up to about $45 per pair.We are both overwhelmed by lawn maintenance days including recent tree trimming in the HOA. My wife feels her whole body shake. It's gotten to a toxic point. For example, if we have a ride to an appointment on Wednesday morning and have to wait for a ride, the mental overwhelm and noise are really tough. Ear plugs don't cut it.

Thanks for any advice about the podcasts and the headphones!
