I am among the older posters here
I am 54
Maybe this has something to do with it
I had a complete meltdown the other day trying to use my Mom's cell phone
I simply cannot tolerate using cellphones.
I do have a blackberry for emergencies. I do not mind it.
I chose it because it has BUTTONS and is very streamlined and utilitist.
No ugly applications all over it. Nothing cartoonish and bloated about it.
It is very lean and even the sounds are very clean.
But not many apps will still work.

My therapist is using doxy.me site
I had to use my mom's phone
the touch screen buttons make me very anxious, stressed out and downright angry.
The auto correcting. Hitting the wrong key etc
Then the screen goes dim, I would go to touch a # at a prompt and it would be dim so naturally I would hit a wrong # and the whole thing would start over
Then the phone was spinning around from portrait to landscape and I couldn't make it go back again/stop.

My blackberry doesn't do any of that stuff.
It is 12 years old, but again not many apps will work on it.

Does anyone else despise cell phones?
Particularly TOUCH screen stuff?

I think being HFA and needing things "absolute", that a touch scren phone is a nightmare and do not understand how anyone can use this.
I do not think I am "old" but I realize 99% of people in their teens, 30s think the whole phone thing is totally normal and they live on n their phone.

Has this been discussed as being challenging to spectrum people?
I cannot deal w cell phones...I was literally crying and shaking after downloading and installing and learning how to do video conference w my therapist yesterday. :(

I can't use touch screens, I just don't know what I "click" - I have very poor eye-hand coordination and normally compensate it with my sense of touch.
My current phone:

No touch screen.
For internet, I use my laptop.
