What does my profile picture say about me?

I (kindly) thought of your picture when I posted - the special interest pictures and usernames. There are far more profile pics with people and characters than I would have expected, and there are sci-fi pictures. But then NTs also have interests, favorite people and enjoy sci-fi etc.

Why are you asking a bunch of nonsensical questions? ...Is it "masking"? Well...why don't you tell us?
I considered posting this in Random stuff, but it is directly related to ASD. It spun off from my larger concern: How do traits show, or how are they hidden? This morning I was thinking a lot on whether my BFF is ASD or not ---- she neither confirms nor denies the possibility.
I know that I couldn't or wouldn't come up with a creative username... I didn't want to make a "mistake" or be judged, or attract comments - so I went with a generic name (which supports The Walrus' theory about my age, gender, and indicates culture). So, then I chose a relatively generic picture, albeit something that pleases me. I would say I don't have much of a sense of self.

It looks like an idealized vision of “nature” to me.
I have read ASD folks (especially women?) are often attracted to nature. I
am optimistic. I can
feel that picture, like a good song.

I think your profile picture probably singles you out as being relatively old (at least 40) and probably a woman.
Ding, ding, ding. But I immediately stopped using double spaces after typographical periods years ago when I heard that marked a person as over 40.
