For those with Asperger's, how freely do you normally share your diagnosis with friends, colleagues or others you often interact with?
How do you try to present/explain character traits that stand out?
Do you feel perceptions of you change much after sharing a diagnosis?

I have no problem sharing it if to do so is relevant and appropriate

With a few acceptations that relate to negativity based upon stereotyping or ignorance its usually a positive thing and I have found that it results in greater acceptance of some of my communication foibles and sensory issues
