Just been subjected to this 'fate'. The cause was speaking my mind on the various 'lockdowns'. One of my main points was the effects upon those on the ASD spectrum; I wasn't even necessarily objecting to various statist measures. What an open-minded world we live in, or not.

That's interesting. Does your country of origin matter? I just never had any interest in short interruptions - why not use email anyway? It is easy to set up groups of addresses to send to.

Several years ago I joined Facebook for about 3 weeks because I thought it would help me access TV shows without my having to sign up with paid TV streaming services. I was able to watch one or two shows thru the sight, but only with great difficulty, so I deleted my account once I saw how useless it was.

I've never joined Twitter, Instagram or any other social site except WP. I am signed on to several forums, but these are related to health issues, or other things I needed info on.

I am an introvert, so I have no need of the big social sites.

And by the way, I've continued to watch free streaming TV/movies/videos at free sites. The free ones are out there, you just have to look for them.

I've been banned from doing Peanut Labs surveys on Swagbucks because they didn't like the answers that I've provided in one of their surveys. They didn't like my honesty.

social media (like ALL media is left leaning) if you said anything remotely resembling anything that could be interpreted as being "anti gov't" or "anti lock down" in this climate, you could be labeled as pro Trump.
that quickly equals silencing, bans, account removals and accusations of their favorite..."racism"

Apparently Twitter is being responsible and shutting down accounts that threaten public health. Or so I've heard. If that is correct, then I'm personally glad they do.
