Here are the steps on how to restart Windows update component to fix Windows 10 Installation Upgrade Error 0xC1900101 – 0x20017:


Now close the Command Prompt and restart your computer.

I’m afraid most of what you said went over my head. It occurred to me that this could have been malicious and could have been quite dangerous, although I cannot say for certainty if it is either. Out of an abundance of caution I removed the instructions from your post. Please don’t be offended or embarrassed by this if it was done in good faith.

Elements of your behaviour are somewhat similar to how spammers have behaved on here. If you are a legitimate user then please do stick around, but computer advice should go in the computer forum.
