I tend to repeat things like a parrot others say do others do this os this normal?

You can make money on it as it seems the basis for Rogerian psychology.

It also is often employed to establish social acceptance by sounding like you are in agreement with others.

You want to be careful not to make excessive use of it as it might be taken as mockery.

I have had people take it as mockery.
