Some people are still worried that I still have poor social skills, but I am good at reading and understanding emotions, facial and body languages.

Is social skills much more than that?

I am sorry if I was wrong about having social skills.

From my early childhood to adulthood, I had difficulty socializing with others effectively.

I would only talk about things that fits my specific subjects of interest, often manifesting as a borderline obsession with a few areas and/or hobbies.

It probably help to understand the context. It's also good to realize that some autistic traits people grow out of or become less evident over time. i don't have teh same insistence on sameness as i used to. Granted it still does bother me. My whole monologuing thing is still there I just do it to people who are listening and just kinda stop listening to them. like if someone asks me to explain something i'm interested in you better expect intricite details and multiple paragraphs. It seems that being obsessed with things people often consider childish becomes alot less cute as you get older. Who knew :?

What you describe meets the ASD social deficits criteria just fine. I don't think the "reading and understanding emotions, facial and body languages" is a problem for the ASD adults I have known.
I think I have always had much more of a problem showing the non-verbal cues than reading them.
