Burning Skin/ Sudden Heat Rash Etc.
I used to get this a lot. Suddenly I would come out in burning rash type spots and the whole skin of my upper body from my middle up would suddenly feel like it had been covered in acid. I have been known to rip shirts off with broken buttons and also I have been known to walk through the town with nothing on the top half of me to get relief in the winter with frost on the ground when others with coat, scarf and gloves etc are freezing!
Strangely it would subside and all the spots would go and it was as if it never happened about five minutes later.
It is only now that I happened to see what another poster has written that I have seen the cause of this.
I rarely get it today but it has been known, but in the past I was getting it all the time. I did not know that this was caused by anxiety and stress. I know I was stressed but I assumed that I was stressed because I was having this issue, and not because of the anxiety and stress.
You see often I do not realize I am anxious or stressed until it reaches a terminus point where I can't avoid it, and then I realized how much I had had it when looking back. It is like I don't feel some emotions until they absolutely scream at me and come out in ways I can not ignore.
But other emotions I feel very muchly. Like I am hypersensitive to them. I am still working things out in regards to this. I can go things where my insides are screaming at me and yet outwardly I appear to be normal?
But anyway. It is one piece of the jigsaw puzzle that I can now make sense of.
I get rash and burning skin from some washing powders, especially if I sweat. Removing the item of clothing washed in a "wrong" chemical helps almost instantly.
I experimentally found two washing gels - one for general laundry, the other for wool and sportswear - that optimize washing effect vs avoiding skin irritation.

There are only a few washing powders that I can use, but this was different. It was like my blood turned to acid.
The last few years I have had too much stomach acid causing throat closing issues. It also happens with stress or if I have artificial sweetners.

My husband doesn't understand how I always can tell artificial sweeteners from sugar - for me they are completely different.

They close my throat up and if bad my nose starts closing as well. So I have to avoid them...
