Is my IEP records correct?

I am so confused, because my IEP records stated that I have very low IQ, but SARC considers me to have borderline intellectual functioning.

Some people and people on Quora think that I am smart.

I didn't see your scores but there is overall IQ, verbal IQ, non verbal IQ, and performance IQ. Overall IQ is your overall intelligence.

Your IQ scores can fluctuate throughout the years because the score is not always accurate. If you are illiterate, that will affect your score, if you cannot talk and you have communication issues, that will affect your score.

I have always had a normal performance IQ but my verbal IQ was always the lowest and my overall IQ score was always in the mildly intellectual range. Back then the word was "mildly ret*d range." By the time I was in 5th grade, both my verbal and overall IQ score were in the 90's while my performance IQ was a 107.

And people don't like to think anyone isn't smart. Even if you do have a low IQ, someone out there will reassure you you are smart and you write very well for someone with a low IQ. They intend it to be a compliment and think they are reassuring you. There seems to be a stigma about not being very intellectually smart. There have even been members on this forum who say they have low IQs and their writing here would be very good. Even I have questioned their IQ because mine used to be low too on tests and I know how inaccurate IQ scores can be for those on the autism spectrum and those with learning disabilities. So yeah I am always skeptical of IQ scores and then they are writing so well. This doesn't mean I think they are lying, I do believe they really think they do have a low IQ because they were told so. But apparently telling them they write so well with it isn't a compliment to them and them being knowledge with a low IQ is very important to them. To them it is not an insult to say they are not intellectually smart. Instead doing the opposite is insulting to them.

And some of those responses in the url you gave us were very harsh and obviously do not understand that disabled kids can score low on IQ tests due to limitations. IQ tests are not designed for special needs kids who function different.
