At 31 I do not feel like I have any other underlying health conditions but I seem to think that during this pandemic the moment you turn 30 or over 30 you are two times likely to be hospitalised and four times likely to die than than the comparison group (18 to 29) and for some strange reason its made me feel jealous that I am not in that age group anymore, it does seem absurd but that is how I feel because I'm worried.

That is a question for the statisticians at insurance companies. However, what you should know is that it is very easy for older people to be healthier than people a decade or two younger just through diet, sleep, and exercise. Don't mope around.

Children seem to be the least likely to die from COVID according to the UK statistics. I'm 30 but I don't think I'm any less healthier than I was before April when I was still 29. We all age each decade but if you're in your 30s with no underlying health conditions then your chances of dying from COVID are very low.

I'm thinking that it's the other way around because people over the age of 29 usually have a better grasp of healthy eating and exercise.
